The Blues’ Jaroslav Halak and Brian Elliott set the crossbar high during a record-breaking 2011-12 regular season. The tandem ranked No. 1 in the NHL in goals-against average (1.89) and save percentage (.929).
In this abbreviated season, while the Blues have jumped out to a credible 6-2 start, goaltending hasn’t played as prominent a role as it did a year ago.
