Tis the season for dining critics to release their "best-of-the-year" lists — and some STL chow shops ended up on a few of them:

Zagat's named its best 10 in STL. They are, in alphabetical order, Acero, Anthony's, Blues City Deli, Bogart's Smokehouse, Citizen Kane's, Niche, Pappy's Smokehouse, Sidney Street Cafe, The Crossing and Tony's.


Included in Open Table's list of Top 100 restaurants in the U.S. were two local stops, Annie Gunn's and Niche.

Going mobile, the Daily Meal named three STL movable feast vehicles to its Top 101 food trucks in the U.S. They are Guerilla Street Food (#36), Cha-Cha Chow (#83) and Seoul Taco (#96).
