KSDK: Game 5 pep-rally and pre-game ceremony plans


STRAIGHT FROM KSDK:

St. Louis (KSDK) -- St. Louis Cardinals fans can get pumped up at a pre-game pep rally ahead of the potential clinching NLCS Game 5.

The Cardinals Official Pre-Game Pep Rally will be from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Ballpark Village at Clark and Broadway.

There will be live music and appearances by Fredbird and Cardinals alumni.

Fans will also have a chance to get their pictures taken with the 2011 World Series Trophy.

Gates for Game 5 at Busch Stadium opens at 5 p.m. Rally towels will be given to 42,000 fans when they enter the stadium.

The pre-game ceremony starts at 6:30 p.m. It will feature the Budweiser Clydesdales. Matthew Morrison, of 'Glee,' will sing the National Anthem.

The first pitch will be at 7:07 p.m. and will be seen on FOX.

The Cardinals lead the series 3-1. The winner will take on the Detroit Tigers in the World Series.
