Holliday taken for an MRI, questionable for Game 7
SAN FRANCISCO • Cardinals outfielder Matt Holliday, a late scratch before Game 6 of the National League championship series, was taken for a scan of his lower back during the game to determine if there was anything structural wrong with the area that had given him fits during batting practice.
The magnetic resonance imaging scan of his lower back came back negative of any structural problems, general manager John Mozeliak said. The injury is localized around his muscles.
Mozeliak said his status for Game 7 is uncertain...
