Edmonds hired for FSM's Cards coverage

Former Cardinals center fielder Jim Edmonds has been hired to replace Cal Eldred as the primary analyst for many Cardinals pregame and postgame shows on Fox Sports Midwest’s Redbirds coverage.

Eldred, who was in that role for FSM from 2009-12, has become a special assistant to the Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak.

FSM also said Al Hrabosky, Rick Horton and Chris Duncan will remain in the rotation of commentators for the pregame and postgame shows.
