In a matter of mere seconds, the Blues watched veteran forwards Andy McDonald and Alex Steen leave practice after being injured in the same drill Tuesday.
McDonald's appeared to be more severe. He collided with teammate Vladimir Sobotka and went down, writhing in pain. He was helped off the ice to the bench, putting no weight on his left leg. After sitting briefly on the bench, he limped under his own power to the locker room.
