(FootballSTL) -- There was a mild surprise Wednesday at the Arsenal practice facility as Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola appeared on the fields and practiced with the team.
Amendola caught some passes during warm-ups and also was seen fielding some punts during the early portions of Wednesday afternoon’s practice.
After the practice, Amendola told News 4’s Brian Feldman that he and the Rams were not putting any timetable on his return. Amendola admitted, though, that he was ahead of schedule on his comeback from the original time frame after his injury that was suffered against the Arizona Cardinals back in early October.
With seeing Amendola back on the field, you would have to believe that his return could be happening following the Rams Bye in two weeks.
It was tough to tell who was most excited Wednesday: Amendola, Sam Bradford or Jeff Fisher, because there is no question who the heart and soul of the wide receiving corps is for the St. Louis Rams.
