Matchup: Blues vs. Kings

BLUES VS. KINGS

When • 7 tonight

Where • Scottrade Center

TV, radio • FSM, KMOX (1120 AM)

Blues • Fans will remember what happened to the Blues the last time they faced Los Angeles. A 4-1 lead evaporated in the third period, as the Kings rallied for a 6-4 victory March 5. The Blues are 0-2 against LA this season and have surrendered 10 goals to the Kings. After replacing Jake Allen in Tuesday’s 3-0 loss to Edmonton in the second period, Jaroslav Halak will get the start tonight. He was the netminder victimized by the Kings’ rally earlier this month.

Kings • Los Angeles made a pit-stop following its dramatic 5-4 come-from-behind win over Chicago on Monday. On Tuesday, the Kings were the guests of the White House, which paid honor to the club’s Stanley Cup season in 2011-12. L.A. is just 6-4 in its last 10 games, but in Monday’s game, the Kings finally broke out of a scoring drought that had reached 150 minutes. Anze Kopitar has three goals and seven assists in his last 10 games.

Injuries • Blues — none. Kings — D Willie Mitchell (knee), questionable; D Matt Greene (back), out.
