The Best Lunch Spots of 'The Lou': BARcelona Tapas

BARcelona Tapas

Copied from Website
We pride ourselves in creating a traditional authentic Tapas Bar atmosphere. This includes our warm decor and the traditional hanging of Serrano hams and dried bacalaos. Our service reflects a traditional tapas experience as you might find in Madrid, Barcelona or Sevilla.

Tapas style service means that food is prepared to order and delivered to the table plates at a time. We do not intend on delivering all the food in traditional course style, or the entire table at once. This way you will be able to enjoy an authentic tapas evening that encourages sharing of plates, lots of gossip and sangria.

Livin' Life in 'The Lou' Recommends:
Tortilla Española – Potato and onion omelette cake with spinach.

Bacalao – Crispy codfish and potato cakes with lemon garlic alioli.

Alcachofas Fritas – Crispy artichokes with Romesco sauce and shaved Manchego cheese.

Atún con Pimienta – Pepper encrusted tuna with Rioja sauce.

Queso de Cabra al Horno – Baked goat cheese in tomato sauce with garlic bread

Croquetas de Pollo y Jamón – Chicken and Serrano ham croquettes, cumin alioli.

Albóndigas – Spanish meatballs in tomato sauce with Manchego cheese.

Solomillo con Cabrales – Grilled beef tenderloin with blue cheese, spinach and a Rioja reduction sauce.

Tres Leches – Spanish three milk cake topped with cream and caramel.

Capirote – Our own warm bread pudding with caramel sauce.

BARcelona is one of our favorite restaurants. It's a great place to bring a small group, order a bunch of tapas and everyone share... And don't forget to order the Sangria.

Tip: Solomillo con Cabrales - if you don't like blue cheese, substitute the horseradish cream but keep everything else the same - TO DIE FOR!!!
