Amendola says he's bouncing back

Diminutive receiver Danny Amendola showed some wear but seemed no worse for it at Rams Park on Monday. The pesky playmaker had a dynamic afternoon in San Francisco on Sunday, his first game since missing three weeks with a serious injury in the collarbone area.

Amendola caught 11 passes for 102 yards. He also had an 80-yard reception in overtime that carried to the San Francisco 2-yard line rescinded by an illegal formation penalty. Oh yes, and then there was the 62-yard punt return to the opponent’s 2-yard line in the third quarter, also nullified by penalty.
