Amendola says he's bouncing back

He’s moving a little gingerly, looks less than tip-top. But there will be no need to the check active list, he’s ready and willing.

Diminutive receiver Danny Amendola showed some wear but seemed no worse for it at Rams Park on Monday. The pesky playmaker had a dynamic afternoon in San Francisco on Sunday, his first game since missing three weeks with a serious injury in the collarbone area.

Amendola caught 11 passes for 102 yards. He also had an 80-yard reception in overtime that carried to the San Francisco 2-yard line rescinded by an illegal formation penalty. Oh yes, and then there was the 62-yard punt return to the opponent’s 2-yard line in the third quarter, also nullified by penalty.
