The St. Clair County Transit District has added a 2.2-mile extension to the paved trail in Belleville making it 6.9 miles. The official opening is 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Swansea MetroLink station’s park-ride lot.
Where • From the Swansea MetroLink station, 2222 North Illinois Street, to the Memorial Hospital station, 1502 Flanagan Road, Belleville.
