Named the Cardinals’ opening-day starter, possessor of the best winning percentage of all major-league starters, not named to the All-Star team by his former manager, Tony La Russa, righthander Kyle Lohse will take the first — perhaps final — step in completing the cycle of his season late Friday afternoon in Atlanta (4:07 p.m., St. Louis time).
