As he came out of the tunnel for pregame introductions early Thursday evening, there was Steven Jackson bathed in smoke and fire, full of relentless fury. It was a scene we’ve witnessed play out countless times, and for a very long time, the sight of Jackson rumbling out of the Edward Jones Dome tunnel — thunderous music blaring, long dreadlocks flowing, his expressive face exploding in pure rage — signaled the grand outset of the only offensive show worth watching when the Rams took the football field.
