Yesterday, my mother, my husband and I decided to try Christy's Hamburgers for lunch. We have one located pretty close to us, down in Cottleville, but we haven't been to this location.
We were surprised to find that one had opened in Ballwin. We were in the Ballwin area and thought it was time. We were not prepared for how DELICIOUS these burgers were going to be...
When you go up to the counter, you are faced with the challenge of where to start... but since it was our first time, we decided to start with what they are known for... a burger.
But there are several appealing choices...
We placed our order and found a table. They will bring your food to you once it's ready. When the basket was placed in front of me, I was very surprised at the size of the burger. This thing was huge! And the fries looked delish! They have a "topping bar" where you can choose your choice of toppings and condiments. Each burger comes out "plain", but with your choice of cheese, of course.
After the first bite, we were hooked. This burger was so juicy and flavorful, we didn't need any condiments whatsoever. We will definitely be going back to try more on the menu!
Do yourself a favor! Go try Christy's Hamburgers. You will not be disappointed!

Way back in the 1980's, while brothers Todd and Ryan Burkis were
growing up in Belleville, Illinois, Christy's Hamburgers opened in the
heart of Bulldog Country, Starkville, MS. Over the years it became a
very popular local destination for burger lovers.
The Burkis' brother's story and Christy Hamburgers history merged when Todd acquired Christy's Hamburgers 1997. As the home of amazing hamburgers, Christy's Hamburgers couldn't stay small forever.
Since that time, Ryan and Todd have joined forces in the Christy's Hamburgers expansion effort and they have opened several great locations in Mississippi and Missouri.
